Our story begins in 1913, when the Gamal family first mastered the art of traditional barbering. What started as a family craft passed down through generations has evolved into one of Dubai’s most refined grooming destinations.

Founder and owner Carlos Gamal was raised in the barbershop. From the age of 11, he learned the discipline, precision, and respect behind the craft by working alongside his father and brothers in the family-owned Tornado Salon. This early immersion shaped a philosophy that still defines Tornado today: true barbering is built on technique, experience, and pride.

In 2019, Tornado Gents Salon was established in Dubai, bringing over a century of heritage into a modern luxury environment. Today, with two prime locations in JLT and Dubai Marina, Tornado continues to honor classic barbering traditions while embracing contemporary style, premium service, and innovation.
